Hannibal Regional Hospital hosted a grand opening celebration for Judy's Boutique, the newly remodeled gift shop located inside the hospital. Judy's Boutique, formerly known as Petals and Pearls Gift Shop, is named for the late Judy Constable who held the position as Manager - Volunteer Services from 1997-2009. Judy's love of working with the Auxiliary was evident by her ever present smile, laughter and optimistic spirit. Much of the Auxiliary's continued success has been under her guidance as Manager - Volunteer Services. Her presence at Hannibal Regional Hospital is greatly missed.
The newly expanded boutique will be open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The shop is staffed by 33 Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers.
Hannibal Regional Hospital Foundation would like to thank the many generous donors who made the gift shop expansion possible, with a special thank you to the Constable family, the Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary and our community members who memorialized Judy with gifts to the Auxiliary and Foundation.
The Hannibal Regional Hospital Auxiliary is more than 230 members strong and works to promote Hannibal Regional Hospital through increased community awareness, health-related education and fundraising initiatives. Auxiliary members are proud to continue the tradition of serving as ambassadors between the hospital and its communities. Members donate approximately 25,000 hours of service each year. Volunteer opportunities include working in the Gift Shop, fresh flowers, Information Desk, Emergency Department, puppet making, Hannibal Children's Center, James E.
